Ingredients (what you need)
1 cup breadcrumbs from white bread crust
450 g ground beef
100 g finely chopped bacon
1 small onion
3 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
1 medium-sized egg
sea salt
freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons sunflower oil
2 cups garlic sauce (for pasta)
1 pack of pasta (penne or wide noodles work well)
parsley for garnish
Recipe steps
In a spacious bowl, we combine breadcrumbs with ground beef, bacon, onion, parsley, and spices. From the mixture, we form 20 balls, which we gently flatten. We then let them rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
In a large skillet, we heat oil. We grill the meatballs over medium heat on both sides for about 5 minutes in two batches. We then drain the excess oil and add the pasta sauce to the pan. We cook over low heat for about 10 minutes, continuously turning the meatballs.
We cook and drain the pasta. We serve the meatballs with pasta and sprinkle with parsley.
