Baked stuffed peppers

Ground beef is mixed with an egg and chopped onion. It is seasoned with salt and pepper and stuffed into washed and cleaned peppers.

500 g ground beef
1 egg
1 onion
salt to taste
pepper to taste
8 light peppers
Sauce
1 onion
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 small tomato paste
1 tomato juice - Pomodori
5 whole allspice berries
6 whole peppercorns
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp sugar
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 tbsp lard
a pinch of cinnamon

Recipe steps
Ground beef is mixed with egg and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper, and fill washed and cleaned peppers that have had their seeds removed.
In a pan, sauté the onion in a tablespoon of lard, then sprinkle with flour and stir. Next, add tomato juice and broth. Add spices, tomato paste, a bit of sugar, and bring to a boil.
In a baking dish with the sauce, place the stuffed peppers and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees. Once the peppers with the meat are soft, remove the baking dish from the oven.
Take out the peppers, filter the sauce, and remove the spices. You can also add cinnamon to taste. Then return the peppers to the sauce. Serve with bread dumplings or rice.
