Heavenly soup with dumplings

Finely chop the peeled onion, which we sauté in a pot along with allspice, bay leaf, whole pepper, and peeled garlic cloves. We sauté until the onion becomes translucent. Then we add water and wait for this soup base to start boiling. At that moment, we stir in the tomato purée with thyme.

7 berries whole allspice
1 l water
10 berries whole black pepper
3 cloves garlic
3 pcs bay leaves
3 pinches thyme
2 dl tomato purée
to taste salt
ground black pepper
sugar
dough 1 teaspoon oil
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 pc egg
Recipe steps
In a bowl, whisk the eggs, then add a pinch of salt, all-purpose flour, and oil. Mix everything with a fork until you have a smooth batter. Once the soup starts to boil, use a teaspoon to scoop out small dumplings and drop them into the soup. Finally, season to taste. To sweeten, you can add sugar or ketchup.
This ready dish can be served immediately.
