What to cook for the weekend? How about the tried-and-true Znojmo sauce?
Ingredients (what you need)
6 pcs cucumber - sterilized
pepper
2 pcs sausage or salami
oil - e.g. canola
600 g quality meat - beef
2 pcs hard-boiled eggs
1 pc larger kitchen onion
2 tablespoons full-fat mustard
salt
Recipe steps
We will acquire quality beef and cut it into smaller pieces on the cutting board. We chop the onion in a chopper and put it with a drop of oil into a pot.
Once the onion is just right, we add the beef and spices. We enhance the flavor with a bit of mustard. We pour in water. We cook.
Before the meat is cooked, we will chop these ingredients (hard-boiled eggs, sausage or salami, pickles) and set them aside.
We thicken the sauce in the pot. I prefer to use bread.
Before finishing, we add the chopped ingredients we set aside. We adjust the taste with mustard again. We continue cooking.
We serve and choose rice or dumplings as a side dish.
