Ginger syrup can be made at home by anyone. The recipe is simple and quick.

Ingredients (what you need)

2 pcs lemon
1 kg sugar
120 g ginger
1/2 l water

Recipe steps

In the store, we select and purchase ginger. We wash it and peel the skin. We take a cutting board and cut it into small pieces. We squeeze the juice from the lemons and set it aside.

On the stove, we prepare a pot and add the chopped ginger. We pour in water. We add sugar and stir well. After about 15 minutes of boiling, we turn it off and set it aside.

We add the lemon juice. We mix it, strain it (for example, through a cloth), and pour the slightly chilled syrup into a bottle.

When serving, we use a spoon to add syrup to a glass and dilute it with water.
