Ingredients (what you need)
1 cauliflower
2-3 eggs
breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard (optional)
salt
a pinch of ground pepper
a pinch of ground paprika
fat for frying
Recipe steps
Clean the cauliflower from the green leaves, wash it thoroughly, and dry it. Then place it on a cutting board and cut it into slices about 1-1.5 cm thick. The leftovers that we cut off will be used for soup.
Beat the eggs with salt, pepper, and paprika, and mix in mustard to taste. Heat fat in a pan.
Coat the cauliflower slices in the eggs, then in breadcrumbs, back in the eggs, and immediately place them in the hot fat in the pan. Fry slowly until softened, which takes about 5-7 minutes, until they turn golden brown.
Place the cooked cauliflower on a paper napkin to absorb excess fat. Serve with variously prepared potatoes and salad.
