Fluffy dumplings in a hurry

750 g potato
1 pcs egg
300 g coarse flour
Recipe steps
Fresh potatoes are peeled and grated into a bowl using a fine grater. After letting them sit, we drain the excess water.
After salting the potatoes, we add eggs and sifted coarse flour, and from all of this, we knead a dough. In boiling salted water, we use a large spoon to form smaller elongated dumplings from this dough, which we then place in a larger amount of salted boiling water.
We carefully separate them with a spoon and boil for about 8 to 10 minutes, depending on their size.
We then remove these cooked beauties from the water, preferably using a slotted spoon, and let them drain for a while.
The dumplings are then served already divided onto plates. The best flavor is achieved when they are covered with fried onions, preferably in lard, and served with smoked meat and braised cabbage. They can also be served with goulash.
