First, we will grind the ladyfingers and mix them with all the ingredients for the dough. We will knead it and let it rest until the next day.

Ingredients (what you need)

dough 3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon rum
160 g ladyfingers
50 g nuts
1 tablespoon cocoa
60 g butter
160 g powdered sugar
cream 4 tablespoons rum or eggnog
1 pc egg yolk
150 g butter
150 g powdered sugar
as needed powdered sugar
1 package ladyfingers (base)
chocolate glaze

Recipe steps

For the cream, we beat together sugar and butter, egg yolk, and rum, until smooth.

From the dough, we then shape small balls, which we fill into molds for wasp nests dusted with powdered sugar. Then we fill them with the prepared cream and cover them with a sponge biscuit.

The tips of the nests can be dipped in chocolate.

From one batch of dough, there are about 40 nests.
