Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 40 minutes

On the board, we will put measured semi-coarse flour, in which we will make a well and break an egg into it. We will add a large shot of water and add chopped, softened butter. We will knead the dough, which we will put in the refrigerator overnight.

Ingredients (what you need)

for coating powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla sugar
filling 110 g ground nuts
110 g granulated sugar
1 pcs egg
3 pcs egg yolk
dough 280 g butter
cold water
280 g semi-coarse flour
1 pcs egg

Recipe steps

Before we start with the dough, we will prepare the filling. In a bowl, whisk the sugar with the egg yolks and the whole egg. Then mix in the nuts.

Sprinkle flour where we will roll out the dough. We roll out a flat piece from which we cut out circles. We then place the filling on those with a spoon and pinch the edges together so that the filling does not leak out.

Place them on a greased baking sheet, put them in the oven at 170°C, and bake for 6-8 minutes.

Mix vanilla sugar with powdered sugar, and then roll the warm shells in this mixture. To keep them fresh, store the pastries in a cool place.
