On the cutting board, chop the rolls and the cooked smoked meat into small pieces.
In a bowl, crack the eggs, pour in the milk, and whisk. Add the rolls, meat, and parsley.
Add the blanched, chopped young nettles. Season to taste. Preheat your oven.
Take a suitable dish and grease it (with butter). Line it with bacon and fill it with the stuffing.
Smooth it out and bake for about 40 minutes.
Slice and you can serve. Enjoy your meal.
Additional information about the recipe Easter stuffing
Easter stuffing, also known as hlavička, is a traditional Czech dish prepared during Easter. It contains a mixture of meat, usually smoked, and fresh or dried herbs, such as nettle or chives. Bread rolls, cut into cubes, form the base of the stuffing, which is bound together with milk and eggs. A crispy crust often forms on the surface as a result of baking. The stuffing is served either as a stand-alone dish or as a side dish to meat. Recipes vary regionally, but all bring the familiar combination of spring flavors.
