Ingredients (what you need)
2 chicken thighs
5 larger potatoes
2 onions
3 cloves of garlic
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 smaller zucchini
green onions
cherry tomatoes
100 ml heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 pinch dried basil
1 pinch dried oregano
grilling spice
salt
ground pepper
3 tablespoons oil
1 piece of butter
parsley for garnish
Recipe steps
Peeled potatoes and all vegetables, except for the tomatoes, are cut into larger pieces. The chicken is salted, sprinkled with grilling spices, and sautéed in oil with butter on both sides.
Remove from the pan. To the juices, add all the vegetables except for the tomatoes. If needed, add a piece of butter. Season with salt and pepper, add herbs, and sauté for about 5-6 minutes.
At the bottom of the baking dish, layer the chopped vegetables, place the chicken on top, add the broth and cream. Cover the baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, until the meat is tender.
At the end of baking, remove the lid, stir in the tomatoes, and let them bake until golden.
Serve warm, garnished with parsley.
