Beef shank with mustard

2 tablespoons sunflower oil
1 teaspoon whole grain mustard

100 ml water
1-2 teaspoons coarse grain mustard
2 teaspoons sweet ketchup
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon soy sauce
Recipe steps
Peel and roughly chop the onion. Cut the beef shank into slices or pieces. In hot oil, sauté the meat with the onion, then add salt.
Add water, garlic, and whole grain mustard. Stir occasionally and add more water until the meat is tender.
In cold water, mix the coarse mustard, ketchup, starch, and soy sauce. Add this prepared mixture to the meat and simmer briefly. Serve with boiled pasta.
