Authentic Bolognese Sauce

In olive oil, we sauté finely chopped onion together with peeled and finely chopped carrots and celery. We also add sliced garlic.
Ingredients (what you need)
500 g ground meat
1/4 pcs celery
1 pcs large onion
4 cloves garlic
ground pepper
0.2 l milk
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon thyme
0.5 l red wine
salt
2 teaspoons oregano
1 pcs carrot
1 pinch nutmeg
1 teaspoon sage
1 can tomatoes (pureed or peeled diced)
as needed water
Recipe steps
After the onion becomes translucent, we add the ground meat, which we sauté until browned. Then we pour in milk and cook over very low heat for 2-3 hours.
When the milk starts to reduce, we add red wine and continue to simmer. After the red wine has evaporated, we add tomatoes in the form we have chosen.
We season the sauce with all the prepared herbs, salt it, and stir well. We cook for another half an hour; if needed, we can add water. Before removing the sauce from the stove, we adjust the seasoning.
Bolognese sauce is best served with any type of pasta, topped with grated parmesan.
