Ingredients (what you need)

500 g ground beef (or pork)
1 red onion
1 Chinese cabbage
1 cucumber
1 tomato
4 slices of bacon
4 slices of sandwich cheese
ketchup
mustard
1-2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (or oatmeal)
salt
ground pepper
olive oil
4 rolls

Recipe steps

In a larger bowl, we put minced meat. Then we add salt, pepper, finely chopped bacon, a teaspoon of mustard, and ketchup. Finally, we add breadcrumbs or flakes, which we can also finely blend.

We carefully mix the meat and shape larger patties that will be approximately two fingers thick. We try to ensure that the edges are slightly thicker than the center, but not by much. The finished patties are placed on a plate, covered with plastic wrap, and left to rest for a while.

We slice the red onion into thin rings, chop the cucumber, tomatoes, and Chinese cabbage finely. We mix ketchup with mustard and cut the bun in half.

In a pan, we heat oil. We fry the meat on both sides for three minutes on high heat. Then we turn off the stove but leave the pan on the burner. We place a slice of toast cheese on each portion of meat and cover it with a lid for half a minute to melt the cheese nicely.

While preparing the meat, we heat another pan. We place slices of bacon on it without oil and fry them until golden brown on both sides.

Now we prepare the burger: we spread the mixture of mustard and ketchup on both halves of the bun. On one half, we place the onion and cucumber, and on the other half, we put the Chinese cabbage. Then, on the half with the onion and cucumber, we add the meat, bacon, and tomato, and finally cover it with the second half of the bun. We serve with fries.
