Vanilla crescent cookies

Vanilla crescent cookies are a traditional Christmas treat and are made as one of the first cookies because they need to rest. It’s good to have them finished at least 2 weeks in advance.
Ingredients (what you need)
60 g ground nut kernels
60 g powdered sugar
140 g butter or vegetable fat
1 pcs egg yolk
powdered and vanilla sugar
180 g all-purpose flour
pinch cinnamon
Recipe steps
Chilled and sliced fat is kneaded together with powdered sugar and flour, we add the yolk, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and ground nuts, and knead into a smooth dough. We then place it in the refrigerator to rest, wrapped in cling film, so that it doesn't dry out.
We tear off pieces of the dough, roll them into sticks, bend them into a classic shape, and place them on a greased baking tray or baking paper.
We place them in the oven at 180°C until they turn pink. After taking them out, we roll them in a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla and let them cool.
