Turkey meatloaf with root vegetables

Turkey meat or meat from another poultry species is mixed with flour, homemade breadcrumbs, an egg, and chopped or grated root vegetables, and then we add…
Ingredients (what you need)
700 g of ground turkey (or poultry)
3 tablespoons of coarse flour
1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs
1 whole egg
1 egg white
a pinch of salt
2-3 tablespoons of weak broth
root vegetables (grated)
parsley (chopped)
crushed caraway seeds
+ aluminum foil
+ water for the baking dish
Recipe steps
We mix turkey or poultry meat with flour, homemade breadcrumbs, an egg, chopped or grated root vegetables, and finally add chopped parsley and a light broth.
Then we shape it into a nice loaf, which we coat with egg white and sprinkle with crushed caraway seeds (this is optional).
Next, we place the meat mixture in aluminum foil, which we then seal and place in a baking dish along with the loaf. We pour water into the baking dish and bake for approximately 35-40 minutes at 180°C.
Finally, we leave the meat uncovered and briefly finish baking it for about 5-10 minutes. We serve it again with diet mashed potatoes or with potatoes and compote.
