Ingredients (what you need)
200 g chicken breast
2 slices of fresh ginger (thin)
1 pod of Vietnamese cardamom
1 star anise
2 dried lime leaves
3 tablespoons fish sauce (to taste)
Additionally
1 package of rice noodles (wide for Pho soup)
For seasoning
1 handful of fresh coriander
lime juice
chili pepper
Recipe steps
Cut the cleaned chicken breasts into three parts and place them in a wok pan with 1.5 liters of cold water. Add ginger, lime leaves, spices, and two tablespoons of fish sauce. Then bring to a boil.
Simmer the meat over low heat for about 30 minutes until tender. Cook the rice noodles separately according to the package instructions.
Remove the tender meat, strain the broth, and discard the spices. Then bring it back to a boil. Add shredded or chopped meat to bowls with cooked noodles and pour hot broth over it.
Top the dish with fresh coriander leaves. Each person can season their bowl with fish sauce, add chili, and lime juice to taste.
