Ingredients (what you need)
2 pork neck cutlets
2 onions
200 ml mayonnaise
200 g Gouda cheese (or Edam)
salt
marjoram
caraway seeds
Recipe steps
Gently mash the meat, salt it, sprinkle with cumin and marjoram, and place it in a baking dish.
Spread mayonnaise on each slice of pork neck in a thickness of approximately 4 mm. Add sliced onions on each piece of meat and grate 100 g of Gouda or Edam cheese on top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil or a lid and place it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius. Bake for 50 minutes.
After 50 minutes, remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 250 degrees Celsius, and bake for another 10 minutes until golden (if available, use hot air or grill).
As a side dish, we can prepare roasted potatoes. They taste excellent when sliced into rounds, baked in the oven, and brushed with garlic.
