Lentil soup with marjoram

Lentils are very healthy legumes. We should indulge in them as often as possible. We can prepare them in various ways. For example, as a soup.
Ingredients (what you need)
1.4 l water (7 glasses)
3 tablespoons smooth flour
1 kitchen onion
3 tablespoons oil - e.g. canola
1 bowl of lentils
a bit of ground pepper
4 crushed cloves of quality garlic
1 teaspoon of dried marjoram
1 cube of bouillon
3 legs of chicken sausage
a pinch of salt
Recipe steps
We will prepare a roux from onion, oil, and plain flour. Add the sorted, washed, and drained lentils, add a bouillon cube, and cook with water. I sometimes add 1-2 carrots as well. It brings a slightly different flavor. If necessary, add more water.
After cooking, it is possible to blend the lentils or leave them as they are. It depends on what you prefer. Then it’s time to season with your favorite dried marjoram and crushed garlic.
Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.
Anyone who likes can add sliced, lightly sautéed chicken sausages to the soup. Bread must not be missing from the table. Enjoy your meal.
