Ingredients (what you need)
Dough
4 eggs
280 g all-purpose flour
200 g sugar
1 vanilla sugar
1 baking powder
100 ml oil
100 ml water
juice of 1 lemon
zest of 1 lemon
Lemon glaze
200 g powdered sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2-3 tablespoons hot water
Recipe steps
We separate the eggs into yolks and whites. We mix the yolks with sugar and vanilla sugar. We whip the egg whites into a stiff meringue.
We stir the oil, lemon zest, and juice into the yolk mixture, then add the flour mixed with baking powder and water.
Finally, we gently fold in the meringue and pour the mixture into a pre-greased and floured form.
We bake the bundt cake at 170 °C for 45 to 50 minutes.
We prepare the glaze: We mix lemon juice with powdered sugar, add hot water, and mix everything thoroughly.
We pour the lemon glaze over the baked bundt cake.
