Original recipe for excellent vanilla crescent cookies, which I got from my grandmother.

Ingredients (what you need)

280 g plain flour
2 pcs egg yolks
200 g butter
80 g powdered sugar
80 g walnuts

for coating
powdered sugar with vanilla

Recipe steps

We let the butter soften and grind the nuts. In a bowl, we combine the flour, sugar, nuts, and egg yolks. Gradually add the butter to the dough and mix everything well. We wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.

From the dough, we shape crescent rolls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. We bake at 180 °C until golden brown.

Hot baked crescent rolls are rolled in powdered sugar with vanilla bean. We place them in a box and let them rest.
