Gooseberry chutney

Ingredients (what you need)
300 g of cleaned gooseberries
2 medium white onions
1 clove of garlic
3 cm of fresh ginger
10 ml of wine vinegar
1 tablespoon of coarse mustard
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 fresh chili pepper (or 1 teaspoon of dried chili flakes)

Recipe steps
Sauté the onion sliced thinly in oil until it softens, but be careful not to let it burn. Add the gooseberries, which you can mash a little, along with the grated garlic and ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil and gradually add all the remaining ingredients.
Add them gradually and taste after each addition.
Stir the mixture constantly until it combines into a smooth paste, in which the texture of the onion and gooseberries remains visible.
The chutney can be served warm or cold.
