Gingerbread for Christmas or Easter

We will start by sifting sugar with flour into a bowl, adding the other ingredients, and finally incorporating the fat cut into small pieces. We mix everything well and then wrap it in plastic and put it in the fridge to rest for a few days.
Ingredients (what you need)
topping 150 g powdered sugar
1 pc egg white
lemon juice
dough 30 g lard
1/2 packet gingerbread spices
650 g plain flour
100 g honey
50 g butter
3 teaspoons baking soda
250 g powdered sugar
4 pcs eggs
Recipe steps
After removing the dough, roll it out to about 5mm thickness and cut out shapes. Mix the egg yolks with water and brush the gingerbread cookies with this mixture before baking. Whip the egg whites, sugar, and lemon juice into a foam for the icing to be applied after baking.
Place the gingerbread cookies in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for approximately 10 minutes.
Decorate the finished gingerbread cookies according to your own imagination with the prepared icing.
