Karlovy Vary dumpling

We will take rolls, cut them into cubes, and let them dry. The dried cubes are soaked in milk. We crack the eggs, separate the whites from the yolks, to which we add milk, flour, freshly grated nutmeg, and salt. We whisk this into a batter. We whip the egg whites into a snow.

Ingredients (what you need)

5 pcs eggs
a pinch nutmeg
500 ml milk
300 g coarse flour
800 g rolls or white bread buns
30 g parsley
a pinch salt

Recipe steps

To the soaked bread cubes, we add chopped fresh parsley and whipped batter. We mix everything together and finally gently fold in the whipped egg whites.

We wrap the dough in foil and shape it into dumplings. Then we pierce the foil in several places. We place them in boiling water for about 20 minutes.

After removing, we unwrap them, and we can cut and serve them immediately.
