Let's prepare a quick bread dumpling.
Ingredients (what you need)
1 pc egg
0.5 packet baking powder
0.2 - 0.3 l sparkling water
1 pc bread (e.g. roll, bun, loaf)
2 teaspoons salt
750 g flour - coarse
Recipe steps

Fill a pot with water, add a little salt, and bring it to a boil.
On a cutting board, chop the bread into small cubes and place them in a larger container.
Add coarse flour and baking powder. Crack in one egg. Salt it. Mix well.
Gradually pour in the sparkling water.
Stir again to combine all the ingredients. Set the dough aside.
On a floured surface, shape the dough into dumplings and immerse them in boiling water.
The dumplings will cook for about half an hour. Remove them, pierce them a few times with a fork, and cut them with thread or a cutter. Serve with, for example, pork meat and sauce.
