Egg yolk stars

Cooked yolks are grated and combined with sugar and butter until a foam forms. We add flour and knead the dough, which we then let rest in the fridge for an hour.
Ingredients (what you need)
3 boiled egg yolks
50 g powdered sugar
120 g butter
250 g all-purpose flour
100 g currant jam
Recipe steps
Boiled yolks are grated and mixed with sugar and butter until a foam forms.
We mix the flour and create a dough, which we then let rest in the refrigerator for about one hour.
Then we roll out the dough to a thickness of 3 mm and cut out stars (or other shapes). We also cut out centers from one half.
We bake at 180°C for about 15 minutes, but it's good to keep an eye on it, as every oven bakes a little differently.
We connect the baked and cooled stars with jam and gently sprinkle them with sugar.
