We will sift the flour with the powdered sugar, mix it with the baking powder, and knead it together with the chopped butter. We will add vanilla, cinnamon, and the egg, and work it into a smooth dough. We will wrap it in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for an hour.

275 g plain flour
200 g butter
0.5 package baking powder
1 package vanilla sugar
100 g icing sugar
1 pc egg

1 tbsp lemon juice
Recipe steps
Before we start, we preheat the oven to 200°C. After rolling it out into a sheet, we cut out stars from it. We place them on a greased baking tray and bake for about 15 minutes.
For the icing, we whip the egg white with lemon juice. We then decorate the cookies with this, preferably using a piping bag with a small tip. We let them rest until the icing hardens.
