Fragile Christmas cookies

In a bowl, we will knead the dough from grated butter, flour, egg yolk, vinegar, and lukewarm water, if needed. We store it in the fridge overnight.

fruit spread
dough 2 teaspoons vinegar
280 g plain flour
2 pcs egg yolk
280 g butter
1 tablespoon lukewarm water
Recipe steps
On a floured board, we roll out a 3mm thick sheet. We use a cutter to cut out circles from the dough, which we place into a scallop-shaped mold and fill with jam.
We place them on a baking sheet and bake at about 200°C until golden.
We then coat the scallops in powdered sugar.
