Coleslaw Salad

Coleslaw salad, as we all know it from KFC.
Ingredients (what you need)
1 head smaller white cabbage
1 piece onion
1 piece larger carrot
1/4 piece small celery
1 tablespoon salt
dressing
100 ml whipping cream
1 teaspoon vinegar
200 g mayonnaise
1 pinch ground pepper
2 - 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Recipe steps
Cabbage is cut into thin slices and then chopped crosswise into one-centimeter pieces. Add a spoonful of salt, mix thoroughly, and then knead by hand for 20 - 30 minutes to release as much juice from the cabbage as possible. Partially drain the liquid.
Grate the carrot coarsely, and chop the onion and celery finely. Mix thoroughly with the cabbage.
Prepare the dressing by mixing sugar, mayonnaise, and cream.
Mix the salad, season with vinegar, pepper, and salt to taste, and refrigerate for an hour to let it rest. Before serving, mix well again.
Coleslaw is served with meat or simply with bread.
