350 g all-purpose flour
1 pc egg
300 g butter
50 g granulated sugar
for brushing 50 g cooking chocolate
as needed nuts
coconut
Recipe steps
From flour, sugar, fat, and eggs, we prepare a dough that we divide into smaller pieces. We wrap a piece of nut in each piece and shape them into hedgehogs. We recommend making smaller and rounder hedgehogs, as the dough will spread a bit while baking.
We bake the hedgehogs at 160°C until they turn pink, about 15 minutes. After baking, we let the hedgehogs cool down.
We melt the chocolate. We coat the hedgehogs with chocolate and sprinkle them with coconut. With the remaining chocolate, we draw the hedgehogs' eyes and snouts.
We let the Christmas hedgehogs rest in a cool place.
