12 slices of hard cheese
1 spreadable butter
slices of ham (as needed)
1-2 fresh peppers
Recipe steps
Spread the cheese onto baking paper in a rectangle shape measuring 3x4 slices. Then, overlap the edges of the slices by about 0.5 cm to create a uniform rectangular layer on the paper.
Place the cheese in the preheated oven and wait until it softens. Meanwhile, wash the bell peppers, remove the flesh, and cut them into strips.
Remove the baking sheet and carefully roll the cheese with a rolling pin until it forms a cohesive layer.
Spread a layer of cream cheese on the cheese layer and then add slices of ham. Then spread the ham with cream cheese again and add strips of various colored peppers. Finally, roll the layer with the filling into a roll.
Wrap it in cling film or food wrap and leave it to set in the refrigerator until the next day.
Cut into approximately 1 cm wide pieces and serve.
