Ingredients (what you need)
1.5 kg of sausages (coarse sausages)
500 g of onion
chili peppers
Brine
400 ml of vinegar
600 ml of water
1 tablespoon of salt
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon of oil
3 bay leaves
5 allspice berries
1 teaspoon of whole pepper
Recipe steps
Combine all the ingredients for the brine, boil for about 5 minutes, and then let it cool.
Peel the onion and slice it into rings. Peel the sausages and make a cut along each one. Place a few rings of onion into each sliced sausage.
Sprinkle a layer of onion at the bottom of a three-liter jar, add a bit of seasoning from the brine, a piece of chili pepper, and a layer of sausages. Repeat this process until the jar is full.
Finally, pour the cold brine over everything and seal the jar.
Leave the pickled sausages in a cool place for 7 days to allow them to marinate.
