Braised carrots with peas

Ingredients (what you need)
40 g butter
4 tablespoons flour - all-purpose
1 handful peas (fresh, frozen, canned)
0.5 l water
1 and 1/2 teaspoons salt
caraway seeds - crushed
1 pc broth - beef
700 g carrots
black pepper - ground
0.5 teaspoon curry
1 pc onion
lemon juice
Recipe steps
At the market, we will buy a nice carrot. We will clean it and wash it. We take an electric chopper, chop the carrot, and set it aside. We will do the same with the onion.
We melt real butter and add the onion. After a moment, we add flour and whisk it in.
We add the carrot and pour in warm water with broth.
We stir and simmer for about 25 minutes. We season with salt and pepper. We add crushed cumin and curry for seasoning. We flavor it with a little lemon juice.
We add peas and cook for a moment. We serve it with pork, beef, or chicken. For example, with mashed potatoes with spring onions or baked potatoes with skins.
