Recipe steps
Rinse the beef slices thoroughly. Crush the garlic. For the marinade, mix olive oil, salt, crushed garlic, and oregano.
Coat the slices with the marinade and place them in a baking dish or casserole. Pour the excess marinade over the slices. Let them marinate for several hours, ideally overnight.
Pour a little water over the slices. Then place the baking dish or casserole in an oven preheated to about 180 degrees and bake until the meat is tender. If necessary, add more water.
After about half an hour of baking, cover the dish with a lid or aluminum foil to prevent the pieces from burning.
Serve with potatoes or rice and a vegetable salad.
