Beef cheeks on bacon and green beans

We season the meat with salt and pepper and then coat it in all-purpose flour. In a pot with a lid that we can put in the oven, we heat the oil and quickly sauté the meat in it.

4 pieces of beef cheeks
300 g green bean pods
100 g bacon
4 cloves of garlic
plain flour
hot beef broth

We season the meat with salt and pepper and then coat it in flour.
In an ovenproof pot with a lid, we heat oil and quickly sear the meat on both sides.
We add diced bacon, two chopped garlic cloves, and two crushed cloves with salt. We sauté and then pour in hot broth. We then cover and place it in an oven preheated to 180°C.
We cook for about an hour and a half until tender, occasionally adding broth, and for the last twenty minutes, we stir in green beans.
We thicken the sauce with a roux, season with salt and pepper, and finally serve with mashed potatoes.
