Candy and gingerbread always look better decorated. We can play around with icing and create beautiful ornaments with it. We can involve the children in this too.

Ingredients (what you need)

1 egg white
150 g icing sugar
a little food coloring

Recipe steps

We will prepare a larger bowl and a whisk.

We will crack the egg white, add a little food coloring (if we want it colored) and slowly add powdered sugar. We sifted the sugar several times through a sieve beforehand. We whisk until a beautiful, smooth, fine icing is formed.

I recommend preparing the cookies in advance so we can apply the icing immediately after mixing. It hardens quickly.

Let's have fun and decorate. There are no limits to creativity. Enjoy!
