Tomato soup

Creamy soup made from ripe, sun-ripened, sweet, and fragrant tomatoes with the addition of basil. Nutritionally substantial purée or refreshing dinner.
Ingredients (what you need)
4 tablespoons of oil
4 onions
2 cloves of garlic
1000 g of tomatoes
1 liter of broth
salt
ground pepper
sugar
8 leaves of basil
1 sprig of thyme
100 ml of cream
50 g of rice (cooked)
a handful of hard cheese (grated)
Recipe steps
Peel the onion and garlic and chop them into small pieces. We also peel and chop the fresh tomatoes.
In oil, sauté the onion and garlic, then add fresh or canned tomatoes and pour in the broth.
Cook for 20 minutes, then season with salt, add ground pepper and sugar. After that, strain the mixture through a sieve, add a sprig of thyme, cream, and rice, briefly simmer, and finally stir in finely chopped basil.
We can add diced white baguette sautéed in a small amount of olive oil. On the plate, sprinkle with grated cheese.
