Ingredients (what you need)
quails
4 apples
butter
all-purpose flour
4 tbsp of cream
salt

Recipe steps
First, we wash the quails and pat them dry. Then we season them with pepper, coat them in flour, and sauté them on all sides in hot butter.
We remove the quails and sauté slices of peeled and cored apples in the butter, which we then arrange on a buttered baking tray.
We place the quails on top of the apples, pour cream over them, sprinkle with buttery flakes, cover with a lid, and bake for about thirty minutes.
Then we remove the lid and bake for another half an hour uncovered. During baking, we regularly baste the quails with the rendered juices. The finished quails are served with steamed rice.
