Marinated pork belly

For the marinade, peel the garlic and put it in a pot of water, add salt and whole black pepper. Bring to a boil and add the cleaned pork belly. Cook like this for about an hour. Then remove the belly and let it cool for a while.

Ingredients (what you need)

1 kg pork belly
for coating 1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sweet paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cloves garlic
brine 10 berries whole black pepper
6 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons salt

Recipe steps

Meanwhile, we will prepare the coating mixture. In a cup, we add salt, ground pepper, paprika, crushed garlic, and pour in 2-3 teaspoons of broth from the pork belly. We mix it into a paste in which we will coat the whole pork belly.

We wrap it in aluminum foil like this and place it in the freezer. After 3 hours, we transfer it to the refrigerator.

When serving, it should be cold and sliced with bread and pickled vegetables.
