Ingredients (what you need)

cream 250g butter
1 can condensed milk
for coating 100g ground walnuts
for decoration 15 pcs walnuts
2 tablespoons grated chocolate
for brushing 3 tablespoons rum
5 tablespoons brewed strong black coffee
for the dough 250g all-purpose flour
1 piece egg
1 tablespoon baking soda
30g butter
2 tablespoons honey
100g powdered sugar

Recipe steps

The day before, we will cook the Salko in a sealed can in water for about 2 hours.

We prepare a cream from softened butter, which we whisk until white, and to which we gradually add the Salko.

We sift the flour and baking soda. We prepare a water bath, in which we heat the butter, honey, and eggs with sugar. To this, we gradually add the flour and soda. From this, we knead a dough, which we then let rest for about 1 hour.

We prepare a floured work surface, where we divide the dough into 5 pieces, which we then roll out into thin sheets and cut out according to the cake pan. The scraps should be enough for one more piece of dough.

We prepare a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place our discs on it. We place them in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for about 5 minutes.

When the sheets cool down, we brush them with coffee mixed with rum. We then spread the finished buttercream on top as well as on the sides. We do this for all the sheets, which we stack on top of each other, and when it's finished, we sprinkle it with chopped nuts and decorate it with whole walnuts and grated chocolate in the center.

We weigh down the finished honey cake and put it in the refrigerator to rest for a day.
