Whisk the eggs with sugar into a fine foam. Then add the whole compote with juice, flour mixed with baking powder, chopped nuts, oil, and cinnamon sugar. Mix everything thoroughly.

1 gooseberry compote
4 eggs
380 g all-purpose flour
150 g granulated sugar
a handful of walnuts
1 cinnamon sugar
1 baking powder
½ cup of oil
Recipe steps
Whisk the eggs with the sugar until frothy.
In a bowl, add the whole compote including the juice, flour with baking powder, chopped nuts, oil, and sugar with cinnamon. Mix everything well and pour the batter onto a greased baking tray.
Bake at 180°C. Once baked, we can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar.
