We take egg whites, which we whip into a thick meringue. To that, we add one half of the powdered sugar and whisk together again until thick.

Ingredients (what you need)

160 g grated coconut
1/2 pcs lemon - juice
160 g powdered sugar
butter for greasing the baking sheet
4 pcs egg whites

Recipe steps

Mix the coconut with the other half of the sugar, add the lemon juice, and gradually fold it into the already prepared egg whites.

Prepare a greased baking tray, on which we place spoonfuls of the meringue. Bake at a moderate temperature of 140°C.

The coconut macaroons are done after baking.
