Bread soup

Our grandmothers probably used to prepare this soup. It is a simple way to use old bread and at the same time quickly prepare a meal on a hectic day.
Ingredients (what you need)
2-3 slices of older bread
500 ml meat broth (or water)
salt (to taste)
1 tablespoon lard
1 teaspoon marjoram
2 cloves of garlic
1 pinch of lovage
1 egg
Recipe steps
Cut the bread into pieces and simmer in a small amount of broth.
Add a tablespoon of lard, marjoram, salt, pressed garlic, and lovage to the mixture.
After seasoning, we can add a beaten egg to the soup.
Add a small amount to the broth to achieve the desired consistency and taste.
