You can't imagine enjoying an afternoon coffee without a sweet dessert? Try baking a banana bundt cake with chocolate chips. The bananas will ensure that the cake is beautifully moist, so definitely...
Ingredients (what you need)
2-3 ripe bananas
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
4 eggs
170 g powdered sugar
1 vanilla sugar
160 ml oil
190 ml milk
450 g all-purpose flour
1 baking powder
80 g dark chocolate
butter (for greasing the pan)
bread crumbs (for dusting the pan)
Recipe steps
We grease the bundt pan with butter and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs.
We peel the bananas, carefully mash them with a fork, and drizzle a few drops of lemon juice over them. We grate the chocolate or cut it into small pieces.
We preheat the oven to 170 °C for top and bottom heating, or 150 °C for fan baking.
We separate the yolks from the whites and whip the whites into stiff peaks.
We beat the yolks with sugar and vanilla, then add the oil and milk.
We sift the semi-coarse flour along with the baking powder into a bowl and gradually fold it into the egg mixture. We mix everything well.
We fold the mashed bananas into the smooth batter and finally gently incorporate the whipped egg whites.
Finally, we add the chocolate.
We pour the batter into the previously greased and floured pan and bake for about 60 minutes. To check if the cake is baked, we try to insert a skewer into the batter. If the skewer comes out dry and clean, the bundt cake is done.
We take the baked bundt cake out of the oven and let it stand for about 10 minutes before turning it out of the pan.
We let it cool. Before serving, we can sprinkle it with sugar.
