260 g all-purpose flour
100 g ground almonds
70 g powdered sugar
200 g butter
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
currant jam
white icing
sugar balls
fat for greasing the baking tray
Recipe steps
From flour, almonds, sugar, butter, egg yolk, cinnamon, and lemon zest, we prepare a dough that we let rest in the refrigerator for at least a few hours.
Lightly grease the baking sheet and preheat the oven to 150 °C in advance.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 3 mm, cut out stars from it, and place them on the baking sheet. Then we put them in the oven and bake at 150 °C.
Join the cold parts with currant jam, and finally decorate them with icing and other decorations.
