Yeast dumplings with shodó

A pleasant memory of childhood. Little cakes with custard. Do you remember? How about reminiscing and making them?
Ingredients (what you need)
dough
100 g powdered sugar
2 pcs egg yolk
salt
250 ml milk - semi-skimmed
500 g flour - plain
100 ml oil
1 pcs yeast
cream
1 packet vanilla sugar
1 package vanilla pudding powder
3 tablespoons sugar - granulated
750 ml milk - semi-skimmed
Recipe steps
First, we will make a starter. Pour warm milk into a bowl, add sugar, and crumble the yeast. Set it aside to rise.
In a large bowl, pour in the plain flour, crack in the egg yolks, add powdered sugar,
pour in the milk, oil, and lightly salt. Stir in the prepared starter and knead.
The beautiful, shiny dough will now rest for about an hour. We can mix it occasionally.
Preheat the oven to 175 °C. From the finished mixture, shape smaller round shapes by hand.
Grease the baking dish with butter or oil (whichever is handy) and arrange the round doughnuts close to each other. They will now rest for 10 minutes, and then we brush them with butter or oil.
Then pop them into the oven for about 20 minutes.
When done, brush them again. And now, quickly for the cream. On the stove, we will prepare a thinner vanilla pudding, which we will sweeten further with vanilla sugar and add a splash of rum.
Using a ladle, pour the cream over the doughnuts and serve.
