Sour lentils

Lentils sour with sausage, sprinkled with sautéed onions.
Ingredients (what you need)
1/4 l sour cream
2 pcs onion
1/2 tablespoon plain flour
2 leaves bay leaf
400 g lentils
for garnish onion
to taste fresh herbs
as needed vinegar
to taste salt
Recipe steps
Pick over the lentils, rinse them, and soak in cold water for 1 hour.
Peel 2 onions and add them with a bay leaf to the pot with lentils. Cook.
Remove the bay leaf and onions. Drain the broth by half.
Mix flour into the sour cream, stir it into the lentils, and simmer.
Season with salt, add vinegar or lemon to taste. Chopped herbs such as basil, lovage, parsley, or dill are also a good addition.
Serve with bread, grilled sausage, and sautéed onions.
