500 g elbow macaroni
7 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
500 ml cream
1 teaspoon dried garlic
1 teaspoon dried onion
1 teaspoon ground paprika
salt
ground pepper
100 g cream cheese (or other fresh cheese)
200 g cheddar
200 g mozzarella
200 g gouda
400 g mixed grated cheese for topping
Recipe steps
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. After cooking, drain it and transfer it to a baking dish. Add a tablespoon of butter and mix thoroughly.
In a pan, melt the remaining butter and add the all-purpose flour. Stir continuously to create a roux. Then gradually add the cream, stirring carefully to combine all the ingredients.
Next, stir in the grated cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, gouda) and mix thoroughly. Then add the cream cheese, dried onion, dried garlic, ground paprika, pepper, and salt, and mix again.
Pour the cheese mixture over the pasta and sprinkle with a mixture of grated cheeses. Then place it in the preheated oven at 190 °C and bake for 15 minutes.
