Elderberry syrup

Elderberry is very popular. Nearly everyone knows the tea and syrup.
Ingredients (what you need)
2 l water
80 g citric acid
15 pcs elderflower - blossoms
2 kg sugar - granulated
Recipe steps
We'll go for a walk and pick flowers from the elderberry. We'll cut the stems.
We'll pour water into a pot and bring it to a boil. Once the water has boiled, we'll set it aside to cool completely. Then we'll pour it into another container that can be closed.
We'll add citric acid and mix thoroughly. We'll add the flowers. We'll cover the container and now it will rest for 24 hours.
We'll prepare a cloth diaper or fabric and strain the mixture. We'll add granulated sugar and stir.
We'll stir until the sugar completely dissolves. Be patient. (approximately 30 minutes)
We'll set jars on the kitchen counter and pour the delicious syrup into them.
We'll store it in a cool, dark place.
