Duck thighs with sweet potato-apple puree

Duck thighs are salted and seasoned, then placed in a roasting pan. We add a little water and bake them covered until they are tender. Finally, we uncover them and roast for another 10 minutes.

Duck legs are salted and seasoned, then placed in a baking dish. We add a little water and cover them, baking until they are tender. Then we uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
Peeled sweet potatoes along with apples are cut into cubes. We add chopped onions, whole garlic cloves, thyme, salt, and spices. Everything is covered with water so that the level is about 1 cm below the sweet potatoes, covered, and cooked for 15 minutes. Then we add oil and blend everything.
The baked scissors are served with sweet potato mash and sprinkled with basil.
